HOW I TRAIN
By keeping up to date with the latest science and
continuous development I ensure you are getting the best advice possible.
Hi, my name is Rachael, and I own What The Woof Dog Training! My journey to dog training started several years ago when I got my first dog. Having a dog was a lot more challenging than I ever expected, and I found I had a passion for understanding dog behaviour and learning new and exciting methods for helping dogs. I faced many challenges along the way with my own dog, including loose lead walking, recall challenges, travel anxiety and separation anxiety.
They say you don't get the dog you want, but you do get the dog you need; that has definitely been the case for me. Without the difficulties I faced with my own dog, I wouldn't have discovered the wonderful world of canine behaviour and would likely still be sitting in my office job!
Having gone through these challenges, I understand how many of my clients feel about their dogs and how time restraints and difficulty in understanding behaviour can get in the way of training your dog. That's why I adapt training to fit your needs and schedule to help you to help your dog to be the best it can be.
I am passionate about providing kind, ethical and effective training for my clients, often dog behaviour is very much misunderstood, and by listening to what your dog is communicating, I can help you to understand what is going on in that brain and find a method to help you both best to get back on track.
